Jessica Lassman Geller, Esq.

Jessica Lassman Geller received her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration, with High Honors, in 1992 from University of Florida. She received her Juris Doctor in 1997 from Florida State University. Ms. Geller is the founder and President of Geller Law And Mediation, LLC. She has practiced primarily family law from 1999 to the present, family collaborative law since 2011, and has been a certified Supreme Court mediator since 2003. Ms. Geller is the co-founder of Florida Mediation Training Center. Ms. Geller is a Primary Trainer for the family law mediator certification course.

Darlene Gimble, Esq.

Darlene R. Gimble, Esq., is a graduate of the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University. Darlene R. Gimble received her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. Darlene R. Gimble is mediation trained in Circuit Civil and Family Law. Ms. Gimble has taught law classes, at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, in addition to political science. Ms. Gimble is the co-founder of Family Mediation Training Center.

Ana Cristina Maldonado, Esq.

Ana Cristina Maldonado received her Bachelors of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies, in 1998 from Amherst College. She earned a Masters in Science of Conflict Analysis and Resolution from George Mason in 2006, where she met several “recovering attorneys” seeking solutions beyond litigation. In 2010, she graduated with her J.D. from St. Thomas University. As a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator in the areas of Family, Dependency, County and Circuit Civil, Ms. Maldonado has mediated over 1,800 cases since 2010. She has additional special mediation training in foreclosure law and eldercare mediation, and extensive experience with “pro se” unrepresented parties in mediation. She is also passionate about diversity training, and has been a workshop trainer since 1999. Ms. Maldonado works as a full-time mediator with Upchurch Watson White & Max and is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals (NADN). In 2020, the Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court appointed her to the Mediator Qualifications and Discipline Review Board (MQDRB).

Barbara Peterson

Barbara Peterson has a Bachelor’s Degree with honors from Barry University and a Master’s Degree in Business from the University of Miami. Barbara Peterson is Florida Supreme Court Certified Family, County and Circuit Court Mediator and has over fourteen years’ experience in mediation and eight years of mediation training. Barbara Peterson is President of The Resolution Center in Melbourne Florida. Barbara is a Chairperson, Board of Directors, of the Salvation Army of Melbourne, FL.  She is a member of the Florida Association of Professional Mediators. She is on the Ethics committee for Health First/ Holmes Regional Medical Center, Melbourne, Florida. She is an Appointed Eldercare Coordinator for 18th Judicial District for State of Florida Task Force.
